About
I am Jordi Hernandez i Del Olmo, a registered General Health Psychologist (no. 35760). I work with autistic adults, adults with ADHD, and people with both profiles (AuDHD) — many of them late-diagnosed or still undiagnosed.
Training and background
My path in psychology grew from a curiosity about how the human mind works — particularly in people whose way of processing the world differs from the statistical norm. I've combined clinical training with academic research, which allows me to offer a perspective grounded in up-to-date scientific evidence.
Specialisation
I specialise in the psychological assessment and support of people with autism, ADHD and AuDHD profiles (the co-occurrence of both conditions). I work with adults and families, both at the diagnostic stage and in subsequent work around self-understanding and personalised strategy development.
My approach
I work from a neuroaffirming, integrative model: autism and ADHD are not illnesses to be cured but different ways of processing the world. I combine Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) with cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), adapting pace, format and communication to how each person actually works.
From the inside
I am autistic and I have ADHD. I mention it not as a credential but because it changes the conversation: I know what it is like to arrive at a therapy room after years of having to translate yourself. In session, you do not have to explain the basics.
In practice
- Sessions in Spanish, Catalan and English.
- I work with adults. I also support families who want to understand a neurodivergent relative better.
- Appointments are booked through Doctoralia; online sessions and clinical records are handled through Clinic-Cloud.
